BREAKING: Nnamdi Kanu Granted Bail on Health Ground
Reprieve has come the way of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the agitators for Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), as he was released on bail few minutes ago.
Kanu who was facing charges on treason, was granted bail by Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.
The bail was to allow Kanu to his ailing health condition as prayed by his counsel.
Kanu who is standing trial alongside other three suspects is to produce three sureties with N100 million each.
The bail condition also include that Kanu must never be seen in a crowd more than 10 people, no interviews and no rallies.
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State was also in court to solidarise with Kanu.
