Adekunle added that the gesture was an advancement of the school’s tradition of fulfilling it’s corporate social responsibility to its community at all times.

According to her,  students of the school have come out to repair deplorable roads around the area times without number,  among other laudable projects to assist the community.

“Community service is our cardinal priority,  it is part and parcel of our tradition as a corporate body,  our corporate social responsibility remains paramount in all our considerations.

“We have been consistent in fulfilling this social responsibility in the past,  this ongoing project is an advancement of what we have been doing,” she said.

Taiwo noted that the road has been a nightmare for decades,  with several unsuccessful attempts to fix it by different individuals.

He lauded the kind intervention of the management of Kunike International School, and prayed for the development of the school always.

“Kunike is doing what government supposed to have done for us in this community, this is coming as a surprise to every member of this community.

“We really thank God for what God is using this school to do in our community without any financial input from the community,  we are amazed with this gesture.

“I am imploring other corporate organisations in the state to emulate Kunike and give back to their host communities generously “, he said.

It would be recalled that a Non Governmental Organisation,  Advocacy for Peace in Africa has recently adjudged the school as the best in community service in the state.
