Book Launch: Oluwo, Aare Ona Kakanfo designate, Ogunbiyi, Others to Storm Ileogbo on Tuesday

The ancient town of Ileogbo would be agog on Tuesday 26th December, 2017 as notable dignitaries, traditional rulers, business men and Yoruba Cultural promoters from all walks of life stormed the town for the public presentation/launching of an historical book on the comprehensive history of Ileogbo, the headquarters of Ayedire Local Government in Osun State.

The book launch is scheduled to hold Ileogbo City Hall, Ileogbo by 11:00am prompt.

The Olu of Ileogbo, HRM Oba Habeeb Agbaje Adetoye will host his
Eminence, the Oluwo of Iwo, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale AkanbI as the Royal Father of the Day and the Father of the Day,  the Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama.

The Aare Ona Kakanfo designate of Yorubaland, Otunba Gani Adams is the Distinguished Chairman of the Day. The Insurance Magnate, Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi is the Chief Launcher. The book shall be presented by the founder of Akin Adebisi Foundation, Mr. Akin Adebisi.

Other prominent politicians expected at the book launch are the Secretary to the Osun State Government, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti, the Honourable representing Iwo Federal Constituency, Hon. Akintayo Abdul-Gafar Amere, the Commissioner for Information and
Strategy in Osun State, Mr. Adelani Baderinwa, CEO of Sahel Standard
Newspaper, Mallam Olawale Rasheed (MOR), founder of Rovet Vanguard, Otunba Adebayo Waliyulahi (ROVET), the legal icon, Barrister Kayode Oduoye (Super-Kay), a renowned consultant, Dr. Taofeeq Yinka Ayinde and a Chemical Engineer, Engr. Ayoade Lawal (Opomulero).

The book “The Making of Ileogbo Kingdom 1700-2017 (Revised Edition)” chronicles the historical facts and figures of Ileogbo as written by Alli Ibraheem, the Chief Press Secretary to Oluwo.
