YBA Osun Holds Annual Asa Day, To Raise N25 Million For Ibudo Asa
An association centered on the promotion of the rich ideals embedded in the social cultural heritage of the Yoruba’s through broadcasting, Yoruba Broadcasters Association, Osun State chapter is set to hold its annual ASA Day Celebration.
The 2017 edition tagged “Isokan Omo Oodua” is to be of continuation to last year’s discourse titled “Nibo Ni Yoruba Nlo” in a lecture that will be continued by the Guest Speaker on that occasion, Otunba (Dr) Gani Adams, the leader, Oodua Peoples Congress OPC and founder, Oodua Progressives Union OPU Worldwide.
A release by the Governor, YBA Osun, Dr Babatunde Adio and the secretary, Mr Musibau Ademola indicates that dignitaries expected at the event are the State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, His Deputy, Mrs Titi Laoye Tomori among others.
Royal fathers on the occasion are to be led by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II while the Ataoja of Osogboland, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun, Larooye II is the Royal Host.
Venue is the Delightsome Hotels and Suites after Rinsayo Petrol Station, Halleluyah Estate, Osogbo on Thursday, 27th July, 2017 by 10am.
The event will also serve as an opportunity to raise an appeal fund of N25 million for the building of the association’s state secretariat to be christened Ibudo ASA as a rallying point for all Yoruba youths and members of the association.
It however urges members of the association and those invited to attend the event.
