Two Policemen Murdered In Osun By Suspected Internet Fraudster

Two officers of the Nigeria police force were on Monday knocked down by a suspected internet fraudster, Olumuyiwa Emmanuel, along Ilesa-Osogbo road, which resulted to the death of the duo.
Emmanuel was said to have drove recklessly along the highway, which made the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps to chased him for possible arrest.
The two police officers, Sergeant Hayatu and Sergeant Moshood Adesanmi who were on their official duty as part of the high patrol team were hit on high speed as the alleged fraudster tried to evade arrest.
The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayeso A’ division, Mr Idowu Adedeji, who confirmed the incident to CityMirrowNews on Wednesday said” the officers, sergeant Hayatu and sergeant Adesanmi who were attached to the highway patrol team were not fortunate like the men of Federal Road Safety Corps and Vehicle Inspection officers who narrowly escaped the accident.
“A traffic warden was also knocked down at Enu Odi Ijebu Junction a few days ago as a result of this kind of reckless driving’, he said.
In the same vein, the commander of FRSC, Ilesa unit command, Mr Samuel Oyedeji noted that the driver was identified as a notorious internet fraudster, popularly known as yahoo yahoo in the area.
He explained that the driver has been apprehended by the police, and presently being interrogated, in which he would be charged to court thereafter.
