Man, 25, Arraigned Over Alleged Burglary, Theft In Osun

A 25-year-old man, Alaba Olawuni has been arraigned by the Osun state police command before a magistrate court sitting in Osogbo over alleged stealing.
Police Prosecutor, Adekunle Bukola, had told the court that the accused allegedly broke into the house of one Olusola Adebayo at Ayekale in Osogbo on August 20, 2017 and stole one Panasonic plasma T.V valued at N65,000.00.
Bukola stated that the offence is contrary to and punishable under Section 390 (9) of the Osun state Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.11 Law of Osun State Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the accused pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge slammed against him.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olubukola Awodele, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000.00 and two sureties.
Ayodele, thereafter, adjourned case till September 19, 2017.
