Lasun Yusuff Mourns Adeleke, Desribes His Death As ‘a Rude Shock’
The Deputy Speaker of the Nigeria House of Representatives, Rt Hon Sulaimon Lasun-Yusuff has described the sudden death of the first Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adeleke as a rude shock.
He said that the news of the death of Senator Adeleke is unbelievable and not expected at this period.
The Deputy Speaker in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Wole Oladimeji and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, Osun state capital, described the death of the late Senator as a colossal lost.
Yusuff who described the three-term Senator currently representing Osun West Senatorial district having won the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress in 2015 as a grassroot politician.
Yussuff also said that Senator Adeleke would be remembered for his finess politics and lack of bitterness in politics. His personality uniquely designed in his form of traditional cap.
He said that Osun state has lost one of its good and straight forward politician who believed in improving the condition of his people.
He however, condole with the people and government of Osun State over death of their illustrious son.
“He would be remembered for his good deeds while serving the people, the state and also by his colleagues at the National Assembly”.
He prayed Allah to grant him aljanat firdaus.
