Police Nabs Notorious Kidnapper In Osun

——Destroys 155 Bags Of Cannabis Sativa
The Osun State Police Command has arrested a notorious kidnapper who has been terrorising the people of the state, Aliu Isha.
Isha aged 31, was arrested alongside with the three other members of his gang which included Wakeel Turkur aged 27, Usman Abdulahi aged 26 and Mustapha Mohammed aged 28.
While parading the suspects at the Police Headquarters, the Police Commissioner, Olafimihan Adeoye said they were arrested on the 24th of October at Iwo after they kidnapped two persons.
Adeoye said one of the victims luckily escaped and alerted the police who in collaboration with vigilante groups, went after the group and were able to arrest them.
He said during the arrest, one of the gang however, shot the victim with them which led to his death.
Also paraded was a gang of armed robbers led by Vincent Kelly. He was arrested alongside with two others including Lawal Quadri and Omoniyi Adeboye.
CP Adeoye said on the 31st of August, the gang went to a construction site at the time money was being shared to the bricklayers and stole about N1 million.
He said all the accused would be charged to court soon and thereby, asked for the public continued support.
Meanwhile, the police also destroyed 155 bags of Cannabis Sativa recovered from a Toyota hiace bus with registration number; FID 319 XA at Apomu area of the state.
