Two Foreign Companies to Invest in Osun Economy
Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s effort to industrialise the State of Osun has yielded another result as two foreign companies from Ukraine have begun move to invest in the state economy.
The UNIG Polymer Construction Ltd which specializes in the production of Modern plastic pipes and YUZHMASH Company that specializes in the production and assemblage of Machinery for Agriculture have begun move to establish their Nigeria companies in Osun.
Receiving the representatives of the companies on Monday, the Commissioner for Lands and Physical Planning, Architect Akintunde Akinajo, said the state government was processing 15 hectares of land for proposed YUZHMASH-Tractor Assembly Plant for Agriculture.
According to Akinajo, 10 hectares of land was being processed for the for UNIG-Polymer Construction Ltd, adding that the required documentation to fully secure the acquired land were being worked upon by the relevant departments within the ministry.
YUZHMASH company was represented by Mr Andriy Shchebet and while UNIG was presented by Mr Wilkfy Oladipo.
Akinajo assured the companies that the Aregbesola’s administration would continue to run an open door policy and will continually encourage more Private Public Partnership in the development of the state.
The commissioner who appreciate Aregbesola’s passion on the industrialization of the state as well as creating employment opportunities directly for the people of the state enjoined all and sundry to give maximum support to the governor.
