Mugabe’s Broadcast: Group Seeks Timely End To Stalemate
The Movement for Good Governance Initiative (MGGI) has called for urgent solution to the ongoing political crisis in Zimbabwe.
The group in a statement signed by its convener, Lekan Shobo Shobowale while reacting to Sunday night live television broadcast of President Robert Mugabe stated that lasting and urgent solution must be proffered to the unnecessary lingering crisis.
The statement emphasised the need for stakeholders in the continent especially other Africa leaders to ensure quick resolution of the crisis.
It also urged the military authority in Zimbabwe to continue to dialogue with Mr Mugabe so as to avoid unnecessary blood shed in the country.
It also appealed to President Mugabe to respect the decisions of the generality of the people in Zimbabwe and give peace a chance in the country.
