Update: Man Who Jumped Into Lagos Lagoon Identified
A man, identified as Oluseyi Adekunle, on Friday jumped into the Lagoon in Lagos from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge.
Witnesses claimed Adekunle jumped over the rails and into the Lagoon after dropping his bag. His ATM card and other items were recovered from the scene of the incident, thereby revealing his identity.
After a four-hour search without recovery of the body, the officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and the Marine Police Authorities called off the search operation.
