Man in Court for Allegedly Stabbing Man

A 33-year-old man, Banji Wasiu has been dragged before an Osogbo Magistrate Court by the Osun state Police Command for allegedly stabbing one Ogundare Daniel.
A charge sheet made available to CityMirrorNews at the state High Court on Wednesday stated that the accused committed the offence on April 12, 2017 at Aromole area, Osogbo.
The charge sheet alleged that the accused person used a cutlass to inflict injury on Daniel’s shoulder and hand.
The offence according to the charge was contrary to and punishable under Section 355 of Criminal Code Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.
But the accused person pleaded not guilty the allegation slammed against him.
Defense Counsel, Mr Promise Jones applied for the bail of the accused in the most liberal terms.
Ruling on matter, Magistrate Olusola Aluko granted the accused person bail in the sun of N50,000 with two sureties.
He, thereafter, adjourned the case til May 30, 2017 for mention.
