In its bid to enhance learning and promote education in Iwo Federal Constituency, a Non Governmental Organisation, Akin Adebisi Foundation (AAF) has launched free extra moral class for secondary school students in the constituency.
The lesson is to take place at Ileogbo, Kuta and Oluponna (Ayedire local government), Iwo (Iwo local government) and some other four centres in Olaoluwa local government.
Addressing the beneficiaries of the lesson on Saturday, founder of the foundation, Mr Akin Adebisi said his commitment to educational development of the people is borne of his conviction that quality and functional education for the children is the only appreciative gesture to secure their future.
Abebisi charged the students to make good use of the opportunity by taking their academic life serious and seeking knowledge on their academic pursuit.
He lamented the fallen standard of education in Nigeria, calling on all stakeholders to harmonize their interests and revamp Nigeria’s educational system to rescue the born and unborn generations from illiteracy and poor education.
Adebisi disclosed his readiness to promote academic excellence within his capacity through numerous incentives capable of encouraging the students` to be committed to their studies.
He distributed motivational textbooks and combined past questions in leading subjects to the students to ginger their memory and promote their learning devotion.
