New Cabinet: Osun Speaker Omits Biyi Odunlade’s Name on List
An unusual occurrence happened at the Osun State House of Assembly on Tuesday during the announcement of commissioners and special advisers appointed by Governor Rauf Aregbesola.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Hon Najeem Salam omitted one of the appointees, Comrade Biyi Odunlade while reading the list. Biyi Odunlade is number 27th on the list.
But the speaker failed to read out his name among the appointees.
CityMirrorNews observed that the names read out by the speaker were 38 against 39 on the list as announced by the speaker himself.
The situation generated confusion as some people felt Odunlade’s name has been removed on the list.
But CityMirrorNews sighted the list and saw Odunlade’s name as number 27th on the list.
