God Keeps Buhari Alive To Rescue Nigeria – Oluwo
The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has described President Muhammed Buhari as the hope of Nigerians, saying he was deliberately kept by God to rescue Nigeria at this fragile time.
Oluwo noted that Buhari`s leadership style in addressing weaknesses of the past most especially in corruption fighting is the hope for common Nigerians at the receiving end of every ill-governance.
He said leakages of common assets are blocked on daily basis which we are optimistic will pay off our collective interest at the end.
Oluwo`s commendation was contained in a birthday congratulatory message to president Buhari a copy was made available to CityMirrorNews in Iwo, at the weekend by his Press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem.
Oba Akanbi described Buhari as an experienced soul that knows where shoe pinches Nigerians and ready to salt it.
He noted Buhari`s wealth of experience has assisted him to identify corruption as the number bane of the country`s retrogressiveness, urging Nigerians to support his administration through constructive criticism to have Nigeria of our dream.
Oluwo hinted that his recent national prayer for Buhari was not ordinary but one the very first duty of traditional rulers to support political leaders God elected for us.
According to revered mornarch, “Buhari is one of the very few assets to Nigerians at this fragile time. God keeps Buhari alive to rescue Nigerians at this crucial time. His type is rare.
”He has the spanner and other God given instruments needed to ease our sufferings. The best expected of Nigerians, irrespective our cultural, religious and political affiliation is to drum support for his leadership.
“I believe in God that President Buhari is God sent. That is why I organize a special national prayer for him recently. He must succeed and pilot the affairs of this country to a constructive end”
Oluwo prayed for long life in sound health and more wisdom for President Muhammed Buhari to take Nigerians and Nigeria to an enviable height.
