Cleric Charges State Governments On Payment Of Salaries

There is no doubting the fact that the Non-payment of workers’ salaries and retirees pensions by government at all levels have adversely affected the economic situation of the country.
The Chairman, Shafaudeen New Generation Parenthood, Ustaz Ibraheem Adediran stated this at the second anniversary of the association held at Global Peace Hall, Shafaudeen Int’l Headquarters, Wakajaye Ibadan.
Ustaz Ibraheem implored government at all levels to see to the plights of parents on non-payment of salaries and pensions issue for the parents to be able to take good care of the education of their children or wards, vocation and career inclusive.o
He added that failure of government to pay workers’ salaries and pensions would hamper parents from providing the basic and daily needs of the family.
“Shafaudeen New Generation Parenthood is one of the Association within the strata of Shafaudeen in Islam with the mandate to exemplify, sensitize and advocate for happy home formation while in the modern trend achieving maximally in the areas of social,spiritual and political administration for feasible and sustainable development” he said.
In his lecture titled Home Management and Child-rearing for sustainable National Development, the founder, Shafaudeen in Islam worldwide, Professor Sabitu Olagoke said the product of homes go through the phases of education, religion, culture before access to political activities and nation building for national development.
“Patriotism is for nation building but the success of it is a function of its impact which largely depends on the credibility of the people processed by the home and other agent of socialisation, primarily the schools or education among others ” he said.
He admonished the parents to be responsible enough to contribute meaningfully and monitor the developmental growth of the children.
According to him”closeness based on contact hours and intimacy in rearing children between husband and wife or wives based on Ubuntu philosophy of civility, hospitality,accommodation, wholesome respect and love for humanity ”
He opined that government knowing fully well that a lot of people are attached to the parents working under them, salaries should not be delayed and be paid as and when due.
