Olu Abiola’s Death: APC Mourns
The All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun has condoled with the Uniq FM (Ara Station) on the death of its chairman, Sir Olu Abiola.
The party which expressed shock on the announcement of the chairman’s death, said it was a colossal loss to the state and the Ijeshas in particular.
‘Chief Abiola was a gentleman extra-ordinary, a die-hard progressive and a business colossus since early 60s.
‘His lifestyle endeared him to many people, high and low in the society’, the party said.
The APC prayed that God should grant the family, management and staff of Unique FM and the Ijeshas, the fortitude to bear the loss.
Chief Abiola, popularly known as ‘Baba Olomi’ died on Sunday at Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife, after a brief illness.
