FG To Complete Osun Dam Project– Minister
The Federal Government has pledged to complete the abandoned dam at Kajola /Owena area of Osun, saying it remains a priority project.
The Minister of Water Resources, Sulaiman Adamu, said this on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
“ When I came on board, we inherited 165 abandoned projects spread throughout the federation.
“ On assumption of office, I set up a technical committee to prioritise them and the dam is one of the top priority projects.
” This is the reason why I am here; to inspect the project so I will know how to defend it before the Federal Executive Council,’’ he said.
