Osun PDP Reconciliation Meets, Agrees on the Following

A reconciliation committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun state met on Tuesday to find a last solution to the factional crisis rocking the party.

Former Chairman of Ilesa West Local Government, Mr Ibukun Fadipe, former chairman of Obokun Local Government, Mr Mayowa Adejorin, Alhaji Aliyu Tiamiyu from Iwo and Mr Abiodun (Fafa) Ojo, among others from the Adagunodo’s faction.

Faforiji’s faction has Hon Ismaila Kolawole, Tayo Omojongbe, former commissioner of finance in the state, Mr Adetoyese Ojo and former minister for Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan and others in the committee

The committee met in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday, and agreed on the following:

-That no one is leaving the party.

-That there is no perfect party congress in politics.

-That Senator Iyiola Omisore is undisputed leader of the party.

-That all media war should be directed at the ruling All Progressives Congress, and not within the party anymore.
