Aregbesola Presents ‘Ofada Osun Rice’ to Public

Osun state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has unveiled ‘Ofada Osun Rice’, a type of rice produced by the state.

Osun has now joined other major players in the Nigerian rice market and strengthening rice production in the country.

Governor Aregbesola who visited the Onilapa Rice Farm, Ogbaagba on Tuesday to meet with the farmers, reiterated his government’s effort at ensuring adequate food production for self sustenance of the state, saying Nigerians must feed themselves.

The farmers who partnered with the state on the project thanked Aregbesola for his support through the farming season.
