Adeleke Defects to PDP, Gets Osun-West Senatorial Ticket
There is strong indication that the younger brother of the first civilian governor in Osun State, late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Otunba Ademola Adeleke who is an aspirant for the Osun West Senatorial by-election under the All Progressives Congress (APC) might decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

CityMirrorNews learnt that the defection was a ploy to get the ticket to contest the senatorial seat under the platform of PDP.
Adeleke was to contest the APC primaries with Senator Mudasiru Hussein tomorrow.
It was learnt that some of his supporters within the APC were instrumental to Adeleke’s defection.
Sources within the PDP confided in CityMirrorNews that some APC leaders who are loyal to late Isiaka Adeleke had been having marathon meeting with chairman of the party, Hon Soji Adagunodo and others PDP leaders since the last 48 hours.
Meanwhile, some of his supporters in his country home are not well disposed to the new arrangement
