Man Kills Dad With Shovel In Imo State
A Nigerian man, Emmanuel Ekweogu suspected to be mentally unstable has left many people in Ughelle area of Imo state in a state of shock after he brutally hacked his own father to death.
The father identified as Ifeanyi Ekweogu died following injuries he sustained on his head.
According to reports, the incident happened yesterday while the suspect was trying to leave the house with his mother’s bible and his father, Ifeanyi Ekweogu, wanted to prevent him from doing so. Out of annoyance, Emmanuel allegedly rushed and picked a shovel which he used on the father’s head leading to his death.
After the incident, he was apprehended with his legs and hands tied to stop him from running away.
