Buhari Needs Nigerians Collective Efforts To Realize Change Agenda – Political Scientist

President Muhammadu Buhari can not do magic in his change agenda except people change their mind and work collectively for the progress of the country.
A Political Scientist and Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan, Dr Dhikirullahi Yagbojaju stated this at the Second lecture of Movement for Good Governance Initiative held at Shafaudeen in Islam world wide Wakajaye, Ibadan.
Dr Yagbojaju emphasized the need for people to be agents of positive change especially in their attitude to Governance.
He also commended the movement for their effort towards ensuring good Governance for the advancement of the country.
In his lecture titled Role of Religion in ensuring and Sustaining Good Governance in Nigeria,The founder, Shafaudeen in Islam worldwide, Professor Sabitu Olagoke said the resources in the country is sufficient for the country to thrive but the result is otherwise.
He explained that religious leaders in the country have failed in their duty at ensuring good Governance through their sermons but rather propagate religious violence and give bad orientation to their followers.
According to Professor Olagoke, religious leaders should change their orientation by preaching peace and impact meaningfully in the life of the people and their followers.
He lauded the MGGI for its quest at ensuring good governance for the overall development of the country.
Earlier in his welcome Address, the Convener, Movement for Good Governance Initiative, MGGI Comrade Lekan Shobowale said the group was a non political organization championing the essence of having good governance in Nigeria.
He appreciated the support of the founder Shafaudeen in Islam Professor Sabitu Olagoke to group especially at ensuring success of the Programme.
The Second MGGI lecture which had in attendance,representative of students Union and dignitaries also featured decoration of Professor Olagoke as life Patron of the group.
