Breaking: APC NWC Clears Senator Osun for Osun West Senatorial By-election

The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared Senator Mudasiru Hussein to take part in tomorrow’s primaries of the Party for Osun West Senatorial by-election.
Hussein is to contest the primaries with Otunba Ademola Adeleke.
There was tension within Hussein’s Camp following the declaration of the National Screening Committee of his ineligibility to contest the primaries earlier scheduled for Monday.
The committee said in a Press Conference on Monday in Osogbo that the former Senator was disqualified owing to his non-resignation of his position as the commissioner for cabinet affairs in Osun State 30 days to the declaration of interest to seek a political office.
The coast is now clear for Senator Hussein and Dr Adeleke to contest tomorrow’s primaries scheduled for a location in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State.
