2019 Election: Nigeria Needs To Be Rescued-NCP Presidential Aspirant

The presidential aspirant of the National Conscience Party (NCP), Dr. Thomas Wilson Ikubese has said Nigeria as a country needs to be rescue from the hands of its current political leaders.

He stated that Nigeria as a country has become an embarrassment among the comity of the nations in the world.

Dr. Ikubese gave the disclosure in Akure, Ondo state capital while declaring his ambition to run for the 2019 presidential elections.

Ikubese noted that both the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have failed the Nigerian masses observing that the problem created by the formal Nigeria leaders have further deepen the country into poverty and corruption.

“Nigeria suppose to be the pride of the black race but today we have become a global embarrassment”,Dr. Ikubese said.

He, therefore, promised that if given the opportunity in 2019, he would transform the country by ensuring the voices of the masses counted in his government.

Dr. Ikubese also emphasized that several solutions have been recommend to the Nigeria government on ways to solve the problems bedeviling the country.

He wondered why the recommendations had not been implemented and pleaded with the Nigeria youths to wake up and shine their eyes come 2019 rather than recycling the current political jaggernuts.

His words, “I have decided to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“This is to help me put machineries in place for the actualization of these recommendations which would birth the new Nigeria of our dreams.

“I hereby call on our youths, which form 70% of the Nigerian Population to rise up and join me in this civil revolution through the ballot box come 2019”.

According to him, the Nigerian youths should always wake up to the challenge of contesting elective positions in order to wrestle power from the money bags politicians.

Speaking in the same vein, the state Chairman of the party, Mr. David Olasuyi explained that the party was also formed to give the Nigeria masses a voice in the political system.

Olasuyi while saying that the Dr. Ikubese has what it takes to lead Nigeria to a greater height, he added that the party is poised for good governance come 2019.

“We are ready to take over power come 2019 because we have present a man of impeccable qualities and experience to lead us.”
