Pandemonium In Osogbo As Two Suspected Ritualists Allegedly Turn Kids To Pigeon
Two persons have been arrested by the officers and men of Nigeria Police Force, Ataoja Police Division, Osogbo this afternoon for allegedly hypnotizing and turning three kids to pigeons.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the suspects (names withheld) have been lobbying Old Governor’s office, an axis of Gbongan/Ibadan road, Osogbo in the last two weeks.
The incidence according to the eye witnesses was said to have occurred when one of the suspects applied spiritual fetish on the victims before they were turned to three pigeons.
It was also gathered that the suspects would have been lynched but for the intervention of policemen.
CityMirrorNews learnt that the arrest of the suspects was made due to the alarm raised by the residents and passersby who could not hold on the sight of the victims.
Some of the eye witnesses who preffered anonymity said the suspects committed the offense under a pretense as they (suspects) have been appearing as insane.
Though the Divisional Police Officer of Ataoja Police Division declined comment on the matter, claiming that the allegation has not been proven satisfactorily.
The suspects were sighted while making a statement at the station but not allowed by the police to address the pressmen.
As at the time of filing this report, the suspects are still languishing their legs at the police net.
