NGO Lauds Osinbajo’s Political Dexterity in Managing Nation’s Affairs

The Nigerian Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has been commended for employing rare dexterity in steering the affairs of the country over the weeks.

The NGO, Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG), also saluted the extreme courage being displayed by the Acting President in restoring permanent peace to Niger Delta and other volatile regions.

This among other commendations were made by the group in a press release jointly signed by the group’s chairman and secretary, Comrades Ifedayo Ogunlana and Rasaq Olokoba respectively.

Rejoicing with the acting president on his 60th birthday anniversary, COSEG said Osinbajo has successfully brought his wealth of experience, diligence and humility to bear on governance.

The group who attributed the relative peace being enjoyed in Nigeria especially in the Niger Delta and Northeast zone to what he regarded to as a swift presidential- intellectual response to the popular interest of the masses.

COSEG said the acting president has truly demonstrated to the world the significance of intellectualism in governance as same quality was professionally exhibited in all his engagements since he took upon himself the mantle of leadership.

The Non-Governmental Organisation noted that the exemplary leadership quality of Prof. Osinbajo has been the brain behind the genuine change widely experienced in every nook and cranny of the country in the last few weeks.

According to the group, as a successful lawyer and a seasoned legal practitioner, Osinbajo has brought his years of experience to bear on governance in the country as most of his bold steps are already yielding positive result in our economy.

“We rejoice with acting president Yemi  Osinbajo on his 60th  birthday celebration. He is a worthy leader and a successful legal practitioner who rose to the pinnacle of his career through dint of hardwork,  perseverance and patriotic zeal.

“As clearly exhibited, since his assumption of office as acting president, he has brought his wealth of experience, deligence and humility to bear on governance which is already yielding positive result in our economy.

“There is relative peace in the Niger Delta, the Northeast just as the entire country is presently returning back to its normal state.

“Being a technocrat and democrat per excellence, Osinbajo has the careful, peaceful, sincerely displayed real commitment to socio-economic development of our nation.

“we are happy with his various efforts of bringing back peace and tranquillity to the restive Niger Deltans as his numerous visitations to the region had recorded huge success.

“We are also thankful to our brothers in the Niger Delta for heeding the presidential advice to restoring peace to the zone”, the statement reads..

The group therefore urge Nigerians to continue to support and encourage the acting president in his resolve to put Nigeria back on the right track.
