By Segun Ojo
The campaign office of Governor Rauf Aregbesola is currently in shambles. CityMirrorNews noted that the entire building located at Km 2, Gbonga Road, Osogbo is suffering from maintenance.
Known as “Oranmiyan House’ the campaign office has been in darkness for close to two years, due to the inability of the manager of the building to pay the electricity bill.
It was learnt that the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) had sometimes in July 2015 disconnected the electricity of the building.
CityMirrorNews gathered that workers of the campaign office were owed two years salaries before they were paid last week Thursday.
The medium learnt that the workers were paid 12 months salaries by Aregbesola, with a promise to balance up soon.
Aregbesola used the building for his campaign in 2007 and 2014 governorship elections.
The building had since been abandoned by the governor and politicians of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
