Oyo Lawmaker Empowers Constituents In Ogbomoso

A member of Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ogbomoso North Constituency, Hon Bimbo Olawumi Oladeji has distributed Empowerment materials worth millions of naira as well as N1.5 million naira in cash to the people of Ogbomoso North local government.
This according to the lawmaker is part of steps to fulfil some of her promises made during the Electioneering.
The Empowerment programme was also aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people of Ogbomosoland.
Speaking at the occasion, the Former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala described Hon Wunmi Oladeji as a grassroots politician who has the interest of the masses at heart.
Otunba Alao Akala said that within the 2 years of her representation in the state parliament, she has sponsored meaningful bills and motions for the development of her constituency.
While speaking, the speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Adesina Adeyemo represented by the Deputy speaker, Hon Abdulwasiu Musah described Hon Wumi as dymamic, articulate, dedicated and committed member of the 8th Assembly.
In their separate remarks, some members of the state house of Assembly applauded the passion and love of Hon Wumi for her people.
The facilitator of the Hon Wumi Empowerment programme appreciated former Oyo State Governor, Otunba Alao Akala and the people of Ogbomoso North local government for their support and love.
Hon Wumi Oladeji who is also the Chairperson of the Oyo State House of Assembly committee on Women Affairs and Community Development said she would continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people she represents at the State Parliament.
The occasion had in attendance, Wife of the former Governor, Mrs Kemi Alao Akala, APC Chieftains, religious leaders, traditional rulers and member of Political class.
