Osun 2018: No Plan To Align, Sell Out Accord Party For Other’s Victory‎, Says Chairman

The Chairman, Osun State Chapter of Accord Party,(AP),  Hon. Ayodele Fanibe has assured the members of party that under no any circumstances must he sell  out the party to any politician or party ‎

Fanibe stated this during the congress of the party held at Technical College, Osogbo, the State capital where he was given the party flag as the new chairman.‎

The newly inaugurated chairman further explained that some leadership of APC have been calling him to woo the party through his influence, but a call which he said he refused.

Delivering his acceptance speech, Fanibe thanked the out-gone Chairman Alhaji Dokun Babarinde for the role he played to stabilize the party in the state, saying “the party is set to move as it has started well like no other.”‎

“What happened and is  happening in Nigerian politics has thrown up the party (Accord) as the fit party to rule with patrioticism as a savior.

He urged members to support and co-operate with him so the party can becomes darling of the masses.‎

“A new era has indeed comes and the alternate party presently in the state is Accord Party and we are going to make it so, but it needs sacrifice which we must all make.

Fanibe who preached peace and total recovery from economic recession in the country said, Nigeria would surely comes out of the wood.

He prayed for the quick recovery of Nigeria President, Mohammadu Buhari who is on medical vacation in the United Kingdom.

“Together, we can move mountains, reason we must ensure we are united no matter the differences because in ACCORD Party ‘ our slogan is one as and progress’.‎

He, therefore, congratulated other state executives and the party at large for the peaceful Congress.‎

The Congress saw delegates and party faithfuls from all the thirty LGs and Area Office spoke in one voice to elect  Hon.Segun Ayodele Fanibe as their State chairman.

Earlier, the National Chairman of Accord, Mr. Mohammad Lawal said all rough edges have been smoothened as the party remains united more than ever.‎

Lawal who was represented by Engr. Odor Iyere assured all members that the party will work towards achieving its goals from ward, local and state by strengthening its mobilization in readiness for the 2018 gubernatorial and 2019 general elections
