Mrs Akeredolu, Sunshine Herald Publisher, Others To Bag Ondo Media Awards

Wife of the Ondo State Governor, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu, Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Araoyinbo and the Publisher, Sunshine Herald online medium organisation, Comrade Tosin Oluwalowo will on Saturday be honour with an awards of 2017 Ondo Media of the African Impact Media and Leadership Center.
Others to bag awards during the event were, Mr. Ade Adeogun, Prince Asunbo Festus Friday, Mr. David Ariyoba.
In a statement issued and signed by the Convener, also the Chief Executive Officer [CEO], African Impact Media and Leadership Center, Mr. Yinka Richard which was made available to CityMirrorNews said all is set for the colourful annual award event to celebrate distinguished individuals and organisations who have made their marks in various fields and callings in the state.
According to him, he said that the purpose of the award was to encourage people that have done well in their different fields of endeavours and those that have contributed immensely to the development of the society.
He pointed out that Nigeria is coming up to the state of development and that the media remains the mirror and driver of development in the world.
“this year’s award edition promises to celebrate distinguished personalities who have transformed the anxiety the society for better and made marks in their different fields of endeavours”. He said.
Among those expected to grace the occasion are; the Speaker, Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon David Oleyeloogun, Dr. Taiye Malumi, Ondo state Commissioner of Police, Mrs. Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison, the Oliyere of Iyere among others
