The Executive Secretary, Irepodun South Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Osun State,  Mr Oloyede Adekunle has joined other sympathisers to commiserate with the Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on the demise of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola.
Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola popularly called Iya Olobi died early hours of Tuesday in Ilesa, Osun State.
Adekunle in a condolence message on Friday described Alhaja Saratu as very charitable and benevolent woman who not only love her God but also love her family and  people in her community.
The Irepodun South LCDA Boss who gave thank to God for Alhaja Saratu’s life well spent said the deceased lived a remarkable life with total obedience to Allah’s dictates.
Adekunle noted the exceptional bond between Aregbesola and his mum and added that the governor should be consoled by the fact that his mother lived well and was loved by all.
“As mortals we never want our elderly ones to go but the Holy Books say that all souls must taste death, so we have to submit to the supreme will of the Almighty from whom we came and unto whom we shall all go.” He said.

He said: “Alhaja Saratu lived a good life; she was a loving, caring, protective and supportive mother. She was an epitome of a good mother, and an example of Godly woman in all ramifications.

“She would be remembered for her staunch and unshakable support for her son, our Oga, our mentor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola before, during and after the April 14, 2007 governorship election. We recollect how she was forced to leave her home by the power mongers who were maiming and killing to ensure that her son did not contest the 2007 governorship election.

While praying for the repose of her soul, Adekunle also beseeched God to grant the children and the grandchildren she left behind long life and God’s guidance.
“I sympathise with the Aregbesola family on this huge, unforgettable loss. God will repose her soul and protect all she left behind.
“It is my prayer that God will give all enough strength and fortitude to survive this time as we bid farewell to the jewel of the Aregbesola dynasty and wish her peaceful rest with her creator.” He added.
