Bisi Akande Commiserate with Obanikoro on Mother’s Death
The first National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande has commiserated with the former Minister of State for defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro on the demise of his mother, Alhaja Wasilat.
Akande in his condolence message signed by Kehinde Afolabi on Sunday described Alhaja Wasilat popularly called Iya Lati as a loving mother and peaceful personality.
According to the former governor of Osun State, Alhaja Wasilat’s death at this time of Ramadan signifies peace with her creator.
The 95-year-old woman died early Saturday morning and buried at the evening, according to islamic rites.
Akande prayed to God to accept her soul and rest her in peace.
