Ajimobi’s Commissioner, Abdulganiyu Resigns, Read Why
The Oyo State Commissioner For Special Duties, Mudashiru Abdulganiyu has resigned from Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s government.
His resignation came barely 4 hours after he took to his personal facebook page, with the name ‘Muda Ganiyu’ to inform the public of his resignation.
Mudashiru, a media expert and Chief Executive Officer of Emgee Publishing Limited who assumed office on June 17, 2016, in his words dated July 4, 2017 announced that he was leaving the state executive council.
His words read in part: “Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!! Alhamdulillahi Rabil-Alameen.
“Dear friends, I wish to let you know that I have finished my tour of duty as Oyo State Commissioner of Special Duties. I thank you all for your prayers and support while it lasted. God bless you all!”
Though, the ex- commissioner did not specify the reason for his resignation, however, sources hinted Mega Icon Magazine that the governor was planning to overhaul his cabinet.
