BREAKING: Aregbesola to Inaugurate Executive Secretaries Tomorrow

The Osun State Governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola will tomorrow Thursday May 4, 2017 inaugurate the newly confirmed caretaker management committees for the 30 Local Government Councils, 31 Local Council Development Authorities, three Area Councils and two administrative offices by the Osun State House of Assembly.

CityMirrorNews exclusively gathered that the event will hold at the Local Government Service Commission Hall, State Secretariat, Abeere at 2pm.

It will be recalled that the house confirmed the nominees on Tuesday after a screening process.

All the committee members will be sworn-in tomorrow except three nominees who failed to appear for the screening.

Aregbesola had forwarded the names to the lawmakers in the first week of April, 2017 for screening and immediate confirmation.

The caretaker committee members are statutorily expected to spend six months in office as stipulated by the constitution but also with a room for re-nomination and confirmation.
