AGF Condoles Aregbesola, Says Late Mother Was A Great Pillar

Members of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation in Osun State have commiserated with Governor Rauf Aregbesola on the death of his mother, Saratu.

AGF said although the death is shocking, it is consoled by the fact that the governor’s late mother was an epitome of sacrifice and great pillar of support for her son’s mission in life.

A statement by the Osun AGF Coordinator, Tijani Sikiru explained that Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola was a mother who was interested in the development of others which culminated in her guiding her son’s footsteps among his peers and friends.

This the AGF stated gave Rauf Aregbesola the much needed impetus to aspire, fight battles and win at the end of the day.

The statement reads “The entire members of Asiwaju Grassroot Foundation State of Osun, Condoles with our amiable Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, the death is a great loss to us in the house of progressives.”

“During her life Alhaja made it as a duty some of advisory roles to all, especially those that she knew as Rauf friends, this translated to all the achievements of Rauf as a Governor in the State of Osun.

“Mama beliefs that who ever may be your friends will definitely reflects in your attitudes and behaviors. May Allah give Rauf, the immediate family and all in the house of progressives the fortitude to bear the great loss. May Allah forgive Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola in all her shortcomings and grants her Janat Firdous. Amin.”
