“Without doubt, the nation has witnessed her fair share of challenges which she has continued to overcome. Particularly, the last 2Years of the President Muhammadu Buhari – led administration at the federal level and the last 7 years of the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Administration in the State has been one of steady and consistent progressive developmental strides.
“We must be prepared to kick against the embers of discord and come together despite our diversity and move collectively in our strength as a people”,

Bolorunduro further stated. “All Citizens must be prepared to play their part in the economic growth and development of the nation while shunning societal vices that could further threaten the fragile chords which bind us together”,

He called on all political, religious and traditional leaders across the country to lead from the front by speaking against discord and division.

“With Nigeria out of recession and our economic indices picking up, it’s a new dawn for the nation. We must continue to focus on the diversification of the economy while building our internally generated revenue and shoring up our foreign reserves. The continued sacrifices of the everyday Nigerian has thus far kept us strong and united.

“We must not be deterred. Nigerians must be further prepared to roll up our sleeves for improved national development towards ensuring Nigeria attains her desired place on the African Continent and the World at large.

“To all Nigerians, People of Osun and my dear People in Osun East Senatorial District, I say Happy 57th Independence Day Anniversary”
