By Sakin Babalola, Ibadan
The Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen In -Islam Worldwide, Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP, has predicted a positive transformation in Nigeria in the new year 2017, with a condition that political class must imbibe the culture of tolerance and Godly leadership.
The Msulim cleric’s revelation was contained in a press statement issued from the International Headquarters of Shafaudeen-In-Islam Worldwide, Wakajaye, Ibadan, Oyo State where he pointed out that the predictions were to guide our leaders and fellow Nigerians on some happenings and avoidable incidents.
Titled “Predictions for the year 2017,” the President of Ajagun Esin Consultative Forum ( AECF) said “Good governance is a function of Godly leadership. Therefore, the essence of this revelation is for the political class to imbibe the culture of tolerance, focus on the issue of welfare importance, the religious sector to imbibe the spirit of religious harmony to promote peace and be more dedicated to the service of God to save the nation through their prayers, while all Nigerians must uphold discipline, love and culture of patriotism to move the nation forward”.
The Cleric said, “Rebranding for proper socialization and correct cultural and ethical value orientation for promotion of integrity and discipline for all must be put in place to allow divine intervention to revamp our economy and to promote healthy and stable polity.
He noted that predictions were not to instill fear in the minds of the people, stressing that “for every prophecy, is limit of time (for its manifestation) and soon shall ye know it. (Q6 vs. 67). For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or little will by no means pass from the law ((prophecy) till it is fulfilled (Mathew 5 vs. 18).
On religion and sports , he said, “Some houses of God will be functional while others will be bereft of the Holy Spirit and fear of God. Sports will be visited for better performance. Pray against accidents most especially road mishaps. Pray and prevent fire outbreak that may destroy large and huge properties.
As regards security, Olagoke said that March would be a “fire outbreak prone month, when we must be prayerful and careful with all caution. In October, we should pray against tremor or slide that may affect some homes.”
Concerning Politics, he said, “Some politicians will be exposed for diabolical and anti-parties activities. In November, there will be rebuilding of some political parties while in December, some top politicians will be reduced to mere dwarfs.
The revered Cleric said that May would be a favourable month for economic buoyancy. However, there will be security alert to fish out miscreants while bad eggs in Politics and stale policy shall be visited. Sports shall be visited for possible repositioning.
“In September, pray against having a crisis-ridden month that may claim a mainframe of our political system. Government will strive to fix Economy for good to avoid collapse. There may be cross carpeting in the system of religion while the nation may experience rehabilitation work in Aviation industry. Some clubs will perform well while others may disappoint us in Sports industry. There will be reconstruction exercise in the religion sector for sanity to reign,” he added.
