NSCDC Raids Kidnapper’s Den , Arrest Two suspects in Osun

Nemesis has caught up with two suspected kidnappers identified as Alaba Folawiyo and Mutiu Lawal, as they were apprehended by the officers of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command at Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of the state.

Mr.Wale Folarin, Head of Public Relations and Protocol, told City Mirror News that the two suspected kidnappers were nabbed when men of the NSCDC raided their den situated at Apomu junction, in Ikire.

Folarin further explained that Folawiyo and Lawal who dressed like lunatics were arrested, while the decomposing corpse of a beheaded unidentified person was found in a building during the raid.

He added that, Folawiyo who led armed officers of the Civil Defence corps to the said building was also caught with a Black Berry phone hidden inside a drug pack, while items such as knife, perfume cans were found in Lawal’s possession.

“Also various items belonging to their victims such as clothes, school bags, shoes, wristwatches, Automated Tellar Machine Cards (ATM), electrical materials, roofing sheets, cooking utensils among others were found at the scene”. NSCDC PRO said.

City Mirror News leant that the suspects have been in the area for a long time pretending to be mad men while carrying out their nefarious activities with others who are now at large.

Meanwhile, five suspects who were riding in a truck which killed an unidentified middle-aged man along Ife-Ibadan road were also arrested by the Corps while the driver of the truck is still at large.

The said suspects have been handed over to the state Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the spirit of synergy among security agencies in the state.
