NUJ Correspondents celebrates Osun at 25
Osun state Correspondents Chapel of Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, will tomorrow Wednesday, August 24, 2016 play host to prominent Nigerians in celebrating the 25th years of the creation of Osun state.
The theme of the celebration according to the Secretary of the Committee, Comrade Niyi Ajibola is: Osun @25, The Media Perspectives.
The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Ali Ahmad, would deliver a lecture on: The Role of the Media and Legislature in Democratic Governance.
The programme was slated for 10.am at GMT Hotel and Event centre, Osogbo.
Osun state was created on August 27, 1991 from the old Oyo state
