According to the charge sheet read in court, Nasiru stole a sum of N650,000 from Jesutoki with the pretence of helping him to purchase two plots of land which he knew that it belongs to another person.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Taiwo Adegoke stated that the accused person neither return the money back to the complainant, nor secure the two plots of land for him.

Adegoke alleged that Nasiru threatened to kill Jesutoki for asking for his money.

He informed the court that the suspect committed the offense on May 12,2016 at about 12:00pm, at Owode area, Osogbo.

The prosecutor alleged Nasiru of committing offences that contravened Sections 86, 419 and 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.11laws of Osun State, 2003.

But the accused person pleaded not guilty to the three-count charge that centred on threat to life and stealing.

Aluko directed that the sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction with evidence of tax payments.
