Security expert urges Nigerians to support government to curb crime
Nigerians have been advised to take security as individual responsibility and always support government in reducing crime rate in the country.
A UK based security expert, Mr Albert Adeyemi gave the advice yesterday while addressing newsmen at Osun NUJ correspondents’ chapel in Osogbo.
Adeyemi urged the people across the country to assist the government in fighting crime by calling attention of security agents to suspicious items and strange event in their communities, saying
“security is an individual responsibility.
Commending the current administration in Osun State, Adeyemi lauded Governor Rauf Aregbesola for his various developmental programmes.
He described the school feeding programme of Aregbesola government as an outstanding achievement and also commended the governor for providing free train to travelers during the festive periods.
He said the governor’s performance was impressive despite that the state was getting poor allocation from the Federation account.
The UK-based security consultant frowned that some individuals referred to Aregbesola as a circus governor and expressed worry that a governor that employed 40,000 youths could be termed a ‘circus
government’.
