Explosion Rocks New York City Injuring 29 Persons
An explosion has rocked the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City on Saturday night. Law enforcement agencies revealed that the explosion erupted from a dumpster on a busy street around 8:30 pm injuring 29 persons. New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio said no motive has been detected but stated the act was intentional.
A second unexploded device in a pressure cooker was also found on 27th street a few blocks from the scene of the explosion.
Earlier on Saturday, a pipe bomb exploded in New Jersey apparently targeting a US Marine Corps charity race in Seaside township.
