Adamu, according to a press statement issued by the spokesman for commission’s zonal office in Gombe, Mr. Gbenga Aroyehun, falsely presented himself as an operative of the EFCC to the Executive Secretary of the Gombe Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board .
Adamu claimed to be working with the EFCC in order to extort money and other benefits from the board, said Aroyehun in the statement on Sunday.
