Fedpoffa Students Lose Colleague, Mother to Accident
Students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara state thronged the school campus and major streets of the Offa town for a candle night organised to mourn the demise of one of their colleagues, Afeez Adeyemo who died in a ghastly motor accident during his first semester holiday.
Adeyemo, a Mass Communication student, who was an activist during his days, was involved in an accident that claim his live and that of his mother.
Popularly called Afeezco, Adeyemo was to contest for the next student union president in the school before his death.

Speaking at the possession programme organised by the mass communication department, the Student Union President, Comrade Yusuf Imran Olalekan, described Adeyemo as a patriotic Nigerian and upright student activist.
According to Olalekan, Adeyemo’s death was shocking and unfortunate, saying that the deceased died an untimely death.
He urged the family of the deceased to take solace in God, just as he prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the lost.
The student matched to Adeyemo’s house where prayer was organised for the deceased neighbour.
The black attires used to mourn the deceased were all burnt at his former house
