Aregbesola, Prominent Nigerians to Honour Ajibola Basiru For His Doctorate Degree

A legal luminary, Dr Basiru Ajibola will be celebrated tomorrow Friday by his friends and admirers within and outside Osun state for his award of Doctorate Degree in Law from the University of Lagos.

Ajibola, who is a former Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration in the first term of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, bagged a Ph.D in Property Law from the university.

Friends and admirers of the Aregbesola’s aide under the aegis of Friends of Ajibola Basiru have concluded plan to organize a dinner in honour of the Osogbo born vibrant lawyer cum politician.

Chairman of the Planning Committee of the programme, Alhaji Waheed Lawal said the programme is being organized to honor Ajibola who he described as a worthy ambassador of the state.

Aregbesola is the Special Guest of Honour at the event, which will hold at Arora Event Centre, Ring Road, Osogbo by 6pm.
