During the investigation, the police found out that at the weekends the joint was filled to capacity with teenage girls who offered sex for money. Sources said that the girls, who came from neighbouring states, wooed men for sex in rooms provided for the purpose.
One of the girls who worked in the joint said:
“We make money every night we go there and men who visit the joint prefer sucking and caressing and at times we come home with N20,000 to N25,000 especially on short times in the chalet, we have never had police disturbances”.
In a related development, Hisbah operatives arrested 23 young girls for alleged prostitution at Tinshama, a slum in the Nassarawa local government area of Kano state.
