BREAKING: France beat Germany 2-0 to reach Euro 2016 final
Two goals from Antoine Griezmann propelled host nation France into the final of Euro 2016 with a 2-0 win over world champions Germany on Thursday.
France will now play Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal at the Stade de France in Paris on Sunday.
Griezmann scored a hotly contested penalty in first-half injury time after Bastian Schweinsteiger was adjudged to have handled and the Atletico Madrid striker increased France’s lead with a poked effort in the 72nd minute.
