Aregbesola releases N797 million to new, old local governments
A sum of N797 million has been released to the newly created Local Council Developments Areas, Area Councils, and Administrative Offices in Osun state as take-off grant.
Governor Rauf Aregbesola approved the release of the fund, which included the Stabilisation Funds to the existing Local Government Areas of the state on Friday, it was learnt.
The breakdown of the fund, according the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy in the Office of the Governor, Semiu Okanlawon, is as follows: N15 million to each of the 31LCDAs; N9 million to each of the 3 Area Councils; N5 million to each of the 2 Administrative Offices; and N10million to each of the 30 LGs.
