My Business Crashes Whenever I Fight Chioma – Davido

Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his business fortunes take a nosedive whenever he has a misunderstanding with his wife, Chioma Rowland.

The singer made the revelation during an interview on The Breakfast Club, where he credited Chioma for playing a significant role in his success story.

“My wife has always had this hold over me since we were young. Every time we fight, something bad happens to my business,” Davido said.

He added: “If I’m fighting her, she’ll say, ‘You’re fighting me? Isn’t your album about to drop? You really want to fight me now?’ And then I’ll start begging her. She has that grace.”

Speaking on Chioma’s relationship with his children from other women, the Unavailable crooner noted that his kids adore her, especially his daughter.

“My kids love my wife, especially my daughter. There was a time I was afraid to bring my kids around her, but over time, we’ve all grown,” he said.

Davido, who shares children with three different women, tied the knot with his longtime partner, Chioma, in June 2024. According to him, the couple met in school when he was 18 and she was 17, and they had been together for 11 years before officially getting married.
